Feed the Birds

 "Look at the birds. They don't plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren't you far more valuable to him than they are?"

Matthew 6:26

The internet tells me that there are around 10,000 species of birds and somewhere between 200 and 400 billion birds in the world. Which is around 40-60 birds per person.

If you have had a pet in your lifetime I am almost positive there were days you forgot to feed it. Now imagine having 60 pets that you were responsible for each and every day. At that point they are no longer pets, they are your job!

God says that we, His children, are "far more valuable" to Him than  birds will ever be. Yet He cares for them so much, they are never forgotten or neglected to that which they need.

We are talking about birds! How much "more" are you, His child loved and cared for?

Application:

Waste no more energy on worry and things you can't control because "...my God will supply every need..."

"And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
